Concordia University - Nebraska recommends the Student Secure plan for their international students because it provides comprehensive student health coverage designed for international students at reasonable rates.

International Student Athletes please note: If you are an international student athlete, do not purchase the Smart plan. International Student Athletes are required to purchase the Budget, Select or Elite level and include sports coverage. Choose “yes” to add the Sports Rider under Optional Coverage on your selected Student Secure plan.

Important Dates — Students must purchase this period of coverage

Students must have coverage for their entire time in the US: School year from August 1st (or arrival day) through May 15th (or departure day) or entire year from August 1st – July 31st. Students who stay in the US over the summer should choose coverage for the entire year. Please choose the period that applies to you, and keep in mind that you can modify the dates of coverage depending on your specific arrival and departure dates.

Student Waivers

If you need to waive your school’s insurance plan, please purchase your policy online, and then submit your waiver form to us at info@internationalstudentinsurance.com. Waivers will be completed within 48 business hours and sent directly to your school.
